Cherry Hill Fun Run General Information

See you July 29th, 2017 for the 26th annual FUN run!

The annual Cherry Hill Fun Run is run on the Saturday of the long weekend in August. There are events for people of all ages and abilities. The 10km route starts in Cherry Hill and winds through Broad Cove before coming back to Cherry Hill.

Young people under 12 can run the "Beach and Back" 1 Km as well as other activities and food. Lunenburg County Parks & Recreation will be on hand to help make sure everybody has a great time.

Each event starts and finishes at the United Communities Fire Department in Cherry Hill. Walkers start the 10 km route at 9:30 am. Runners start at 10:00 am. The Beach and Back races start at 10:30 am.

The focus of the day is on FUN. A group photo by the department’s fire truck will be taken at 9:15 am and everyone gets a digital copy. The First 250 10K participants get a souvenir t-shirt. There is music and lunch to enjoy and lots of door prizes to win. Chances are fifty-fifty you'll win a door prize.

Ever wonder what it would be like to be a medalist in a race? The Cherry Hill Fun Run is the event for you. The gold, silver and bronze awards are drawn from all the names of those who complete the 10 km event.

Local businesses are major sponsors of the fun run. Many others donate great door prizes to this long-running affair.

Monies raised in the race go to the local fire service. The United Communities Fire department is headquartered at # 7987 Hwy 331 in Cherry Hill.

People of all ages are welcome to attend the party for this Fun Run!
