About Us Page
The About Us page is for articles related to and of interest to the United Communites Fire Department.
It could eventually include:
- notices (stuff for sale, announcements)
- projects (new fire truck, other projects?)
- activities (clubs etc.)
- resources (info on the fire hall, trucks, UCFD resources etc.)
- giving back (how to donate/participate/volunteer/etc)
Contributions of content are solicited and welcome. Harry Smith (a longtime supporter, friend of the communities and former Fire Chief) has lots of information just waiting for someone to post. Sheila Conrad has photo albums pertaining to the history of the United Communities Fire Department that need to be scanned.
If there are volunteers that are interested in capturing this or other information please contact Harry, Sheila or our website administrator Tom Bannister.
Pictures can easily be contributed by storing them on a service such as Picasa, Flickr or other service and providing us with the embedding code. If you have questions about how to do this contact our website administrator or a friend that uses these services.
